How Should Soil Samples Be Taken for Soil Analysis?

Before fertilization, samples should be taken from slightly moist soil that has been cleared of stones, plant residues and roots. Samples should be collected in a zigzag pattern from each section: from a depth of 0–20 cm for field crops, and from two different depths, 0–30 cm and 30–60 cm, for orchard crops/trees. Take samples from 10 different points, mix them homogeneously in a clean bucket, place approximately 1 kg of soil sample in a clean bag, label it and deliver it to the laboratory
